“ Have passed by here many times and finally stopped in for breakfast. We were greeted with a "Good Morning" as soon as we stepped in the door a sure hometown vibe. The place is neat and clean with additional seating on a covered pavilion outdoors. Breakfast was the usual diner menu..eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes etc. My omelet was full of very tasty ham and was nice and fluffy my husband got eggs over medium with bacon and hashbrowns. Both of our meals were good and cooked just right, the toast could have been crispier but I find that with a lot of restaurants. Price is comparable to other small towns in our area so not a bad deal for the money. ”
“ This is THE place, if you adore small-town diner atmosphere! I had been told about the food here several times, and finally had the chance to stop. I ordered the chili and a grilled cheese. It was delicious. The two at the counter were fantastic in taking and delivering my order, and with some small talk, even though the place was packed at 6 pm. I sat at a booth and waited for my order and the wait was the best part. I watched and listened to the customers as they enjoyed their dinner and conversation with friends and family. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I definitely will go back. I grew up in the St. Louis suburbs, but my family is from the south, where these types of diners were in every town when I was a kid, and I looked forward to every visit. The good ones... are few and far between, and THIS place... is most definitely one of the good ones. If you haven't been there yet, you have no idea what you're missing. ”

“ Nice little local spot; heard they have good chicken and they delivered! My wife got the 4-piece dinner. Big portion of juicy broasted nicely breaded chicken with a simple but chilled nice salad and baked potato for a great price. Chicken fried steak was also super; nice piece of tender cube steak just like it was made years ago, with a crispy breading. All of the waitresses were super nice, adding to a great experience. It's off the beaten track, but worth a visit. People rave about their pies, but too full...next time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended! ”
“ Just loved it all! I'm new to the area and live in the woods. Finding a good meal with great service is actually exciting! I filled up with big breakfast for supper. Got a BBQ pork steak meal to take home. Oh my! That pork steak was huge and SO tender! The potato salad was awesome AND the pecan pie was the topper to 2 very good meals. They do lots of orders for pick up and take home. I'm very impressed and when I come out of the woods again I will be back. Thank you for being here for our community! ”
